We're Here For You Every Step Of The Way

Orientation

New students receive a thorough orientation introducing them to school services and regulations.

Academic Counseling

Advisors provide personalized guidance identifying areas of opportunity, additional tutorial support, and helping students navigate the curriculum.

Mentorship

Students also have access to peer-mentors from more advanced levels who provide additional guidance and perspective regarding the specialty of interest

Psychological Support

Professional counselors are on hand to provide mental health support, addressing common issues encountered in medical education and providing individual personalized support.

Career Counseling

During the pre-clinical years students receive orientation, workshops, and one-on-one assessments to develop their student profile in preparation for the Match Process. Personal statement workshops, CV review, and development, and professional brand, among others, are part of the activities or support services students receive.
In the thrid and fourth years an assigned faculty member offers support on medical specialty choices, residency applications, and licensure preparation.

Financial Guidance

Financial Counseling: Expert advisors help students understand and navigate options to finance their medical education.

Budgeting Assistance: Guidance on budgeting and managing educational expenses is readily available.

Scholarships: Information and assistance with applying for scholarships to help ease the financial burden.

Complaint Resolution: A well-defined process is in place for addressing and resolving student complaints promptly and fairly. Our Grievance Policy provides protection against retaliation and promotes the student’s feedback in order to promote an appropriate learning environment.
