Internal scholarship opportunities

British Virgin Islands Resident Full Tuition Scholarship

PHSU BVI will award two British Virgin Islands Citizens with full tuition scholarships. Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to remain eligible for this scholarship. If at any time the student is recommended to the promotions committee for SAP reasons, the student will lose this scholarship for all future semesters and there will be no reconsideration or appeal to regain eligibility. Puerto Rico, Missouri and Caribbean Resident Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to the first 15 students from Puerto Rico, Missouri, Illinois, and the British Virgin Islands who enroll in the MD Program. The list of qualified recipients is provided by the Admissions department. Students will receive a scholarship up to 20% of the cost of tuition and fees for each semester. Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to remain eligible for this scholarship. If at any time the student is recommended to the promotions committee for SAP reasons, the student will lose this scholarship for all future semesters and there will be no reconsideration or appeal to regain eligibility. This Scholarship cannot be combined or stacked unless explicitly stated otherwise. No application is necessary. For more information, students can contact the Admissions office.

Early Enrollment Scholarship

The Early Enrollment Scholarship is offered to up to 10 new non-resident students, first-come-first-served, who enroll before January 30, 2025. Non-resident students can qualify for up to $2,500. The list of qualified recipients is provided by the Admissions department. The scholarship will be awarded based on the availability of funds. Tiber Health Alumni Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to the first 10 graduates of the Master of Science in Medical Sciences program at PHSU or any of Tiber Health's partner schools, who are admitted into the MD Program at PHSU BVI.  The list of qualified recipients is provided by the Admissions department. Students will receive a scholarship up to 20% of the cost of tuition and fees for each semester to help offset the cost of tuition for the MSMS program. Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to remain eligible for this scholarship. If at any time the student is recommended to the promotions committee for SAP reasons, the student will lose this scholarship for all future semesters and there will be no reconsideration or appeal to regain eligibility. This Scholarship cannot be combined or stacked unless explicitly stated otherwise. No application is necessary. For more information, students can contact the Admissions office.
